Sometimes it’s so hard to motivate yourself. Especially when you are alone at that moment, or when it has to be you, giving this issue some attention. And it could be anything. From ironing your laundry to writing that important paper. And from mowing the lawn to checking the batteries in the smoke detectors.
Are you like me, who wants it all perfect and well? I have to do it all myself, I trust nobody. And sometimes it’s coming back, biting me in butt! I ask my kids or hubbie to do something, like loading the dishwasher. But when it’s all in there, like not my way at all, I just have to rearrange the whole thing. I can’t help it, I’m driving myself nuts sometimes!
Same goes in my little business here. It’s a good thing I’m doing it all alone (for now, who knows what the future will bring, right?). But the thing is, I want to do it perfect, just like all the other mompreneurs and business-women. Hence I have an endless to-do (and to-learn) list on my desk. So if it’s a good thing doing it all alone? I’m not sure yet ;)
I make to-do lists for my daily life too, especially for our weekends. On there is for instance sorting out the hall way closet, shoes and coats (which I did….check!). And I really want to go through every room and closet and box and drawer in the whole house. Clean things up. We have so much stuff just lying around, right?
What are the things you have to look after? What is it you really want to get done in your home, in your life and on a day to day basis?
In other words, what’s on your to-do list?
Like I said, I want to go through every room in the house, systematically. Tell me your tasks.
In the meantime I have for you here a great to-do list you can print out and fill in. It’s a great way to dump your brain and afterwards, see what you can do in those 10 minutes you have between tasks. Print out a few in A5 format and staple them together into a little booklet for in your bag. That way you can, at any time, scribble your thoughts on there. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but it’s nice to have it inviting, right?
OK, I'm waiting for your to-do list, like the nosy little girl I am, I wanna know!
